Q: What kind of alterations do you do?

A: We handle all sorts of clothing alterations — hemming pants, replacing zippers, adjusting waistlines, and more. Whether it’s a favorite pair of jeans or a work shirt that needs tweaking, we’re here to help.

Q: Do you repair damaged clothes too?

A: Yes, absolutely! We can mend holes, fix loose seams, replace buttons, and replace broken zippers. Whatever damage has befallen your favorite garment, rest assured the best effort will be given to restoring it. We love giving well-loved clothes a new lease on life.

Q: How long will my alteration or repair take?

A: Most jobs are ready within about 7-14 days. Larger projects can take more time, which will be discussed and agreed upon by both parties. If you need something quicker, just let us know — we’ll do our best to fit you in. (rush charges may apply)

Q: Do I need to make an appointment?

A: Unfortunately at this time, The Neon Odditorium does not have a full time storefront. May Through October you can find us at the Grants Pass Makers Market every Saturday 9 am to 1pm. During the off season it is best to call or text us to book an appointment at 541-450-9380. For bigger jobs or fitting sessions, it’s best to book well ahead enough of your deadline so we can give you the time and attention your garment deserves.

Q: How much will it cost?

A: It depends on what needs doing. Simple hems start from $12, and we’re always happy to give you a quote before we start. We do our absolute best to leave you with no surprise charges.

Q: Can you fix clothes that have already been altered before?

A: In most cases, yes. We’ll have a quick look first to see if there’s enough fabric to work with and talk through your options.

Q: What kinds of fabrics can you work with?

A: Pretty much everything — denim, cotton, wool, silk, stretch fabrics, and more. Some heavy leathers may not be workable on our machines.

Q: Do you do men’s clothing too?

A: Definitely! We alter and repair men’s trousers, shirts, jackets, and coats.

Q: What should I bring for a fitting?

A: Bring along the shoes and any undergarments you’ll wear with the outfit. That way we can make sure the length and fit are perfect for how you’ll actually wear it.

Q: Can you collect or deliver items?

A: Depending on where you are, we might be able to arrange a pickup or drop-off. Just ask — we’ll do our best to help.

Q: How should I look after my clothes once they’re altered?

A: We’ll give you a few care tips when you collect your item, so you can keep it looking great for as long as possible.
